Relays:
Relays are electrically operated switches. Many relays are made up of electromagnets and contacts. Current flows through the coil of the relay, which creates a magnetic field. the field then attracts a lever and changes the switch contact. The point of the relay is to use a small amount of power in the electromagnet.
